Tina Oh: Another Feminist Killjoy on Climate Justice

Tina Yeonju Oh will share her experiences organizing for climate justice on Tuesday, Feb. 20 at 4:00pm at McCain Hall, Room 202, St. Thomas University. 

Tina hails from Treaty 6 (Edmonton, Alberta) and is a student at Mount Allison University. Tina is an organizer with DivestMTA, a fossil fuel divestment campaign at Mount Allison University. She was one of the organizers of the Climate 101 action against the Kinder Morgan Trans-mountain pipeline, where she and 98 other young people were arrested on Parliament Hill in 2016. Tina has acted as a delegate for the Canadian Youth Climate Coalition and has participated as a formal Party Delegate of the Government of Canada at the UN Conference of the Parties on Climate Change in Bonn, Germany and Marrakesh, Morocco. Tina writes a regular column for Mt. A's student newspaper, The Argosy, called Another Feminist Killjoy.
